FOREIGN STUDENT ADMISSION REGULATIONS
PROCEDURE

Prospective students are required to register and upload all documents via the official Darmasiswa STMIK IKMI website at darmasiswa.ikmi.ac.id. Prospective students who are not in their country of origin are not permitted to register through the Embassy/Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in their country of residence (non-citizenship).

  1. Students prepare the requirements to obtain a Study Permit and submit it to STMIK IKMI Cirebon.
  2. Universities complete the required documents and submit a study permit application to the Institutional Director through the Foreign Student Study Permit application system.
  3. The Study Permit Service Manager at the Institutional Directorate receives, verifies and validates study permit applications from STMIK IKMI.
  4. The Institutional Director approves the study permit using a Digital Signature that has been certified by BSrE.
  5. The university receives approval for the study permit and conveys the permit to the student.
  6. The Study Permit Service Manager at the Institutional Directorate facilitates the implementation of supervision, evaluation and guidance of foreign students through the Clearing forum.


STUDENT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Foreign nationals
  • Have completed secondary education or equivalent
  • Minimum age 18 years and maximum 27 years
  • Able to communicate in English (proven by an English language proficiency certificate: TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS or other relevant certificate)
  • Physically healthy, proven by a health certificate
  • Have basic knowledge according to the field applied for
  • Have a high interest in studying languages, arts and culture
  • Not an alumni of the Darmasiswa program
  • Not currently studying in Indonesia
  • Not currently working in Indonesia

NEW STUDY PERMIT REQUIREMENTS

  • Scan of the letter of application for a Foreign Student Study Permit from a tertiary institution addressed to the Institutional Director of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology
  • Information related to study programs and personal data
  • Scan of Letter of Acceptance at Higher Education (Letter of Acceptance/LOA)
  • Scan of diploma or academic transcript
  • Passport scan
  • Scan of the statement letter stating that:
    • Will not work while studying in Indonesia
    • Will not be involved in political activities
    • Will comply with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia
  • Scan of a statement from the guarantor or party responsible for the study period
  • Scan of financing guarantee letter
  • Scan of health certificate
  • Scan of passport size color photo

STUDY PERMIT EXTENSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Scan of the letter of application for extension of the Foreign Student Study Permit from the university addressed to the Director of Higher Education Institutional Development
  • All information and documents used when applying for a new permit, plus:
    • Scan of academic transcript
    • Scan identity card
